The TEST subcommand lets you interactively test a compiled rule set. Testing determines whether the rule set allows the access you intended. When you specify the TEST subcommand, CA ACF2 Option for DB2 performs a validation of the compiled rule but does not create any loggings for violations. The TEST subcommand checks the test rule against the current rules in a directory; you might have to store the rule and rebuild the directory before testing to get accurate results for the test. This testing does not take into account any user‑specific system options, user‑developed exits, or other DB2 privileges that might grant a user access (such as SYSADM or DBADM).
