Control Statements

These parameters are placed at the beginning of a rule set and begin with dollar signs ($) or percent symbols (%). Control statements identify parts of infostorage record keys that CA ACF2 Option for DB2 uses to locate rule sets. Infostorage record keys include the name ($KEY), type ($TYPE), and subsystem ID ($SYSID) of a resource. Control statements also specify conditions that apply to the whole rule set or to rule entries. Control statements are as follows:

$KEY

Resource name.

$LIDOWNER

The owner of the resource, identified by logonid.

$MEMBER

Specifies the member name to be used for a decompile into a partitioned data set (PDS) if one is not provided with the decompile request.

$MODE

The level of protection for the resource.

$NORULELNG

Overrides the use of the rulelong compiler when RULELONG is active.

$OWNER

Information Field used to indicate who is responsible for the rule.

$PREFIX

Specify in a resource rule to provide additional or alternate matching criteria for the resource name being validated.

$ROLESET

Designates a rule set as a role rule set that must contain role parameters in rule line entries.

$SYSID

DB2 subsystem ID.

$UIDOWNER

One or more owners of the resource, identified by UID.

$TYPE

Type of resource.

$USERDATA

User information to supply to locally defined exits.

%CHANGE

One or more users who can change any part of a rule set.

%RCHANGE

One or more users restricted to changing parts of a rule set.
