CA ACF2 Option for DB2 Rule Changes

An incremental synchronization can detect changes to CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules. Detecting these changes is meaningless, however, if the rule directories are not rebuilt before the utility is executed. Remember that CA ACF2 Option for DB2 uses rule directories when masking is used in CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rules. The synchronization utility also uses these directories when performing resource validation calls. If the rules have changed but the in‑storage directories are not rebuilt, validations continue to use the old rules. So, you should ensure that you rebuild the CA ACF2 Option for DB2 rule directories before running the synchronization utility.
