Overview

In CA 3Tera AppLogic, application instances can be provisioned with a single command -- app provision or through the Application Provisioning Wizard, no matter what the application is and how complex it is. The same command is used for simple applications such as a Grid Server that can run in a fraction of a server, and for complex 2- and 3-tier scalable applications that can take 20+ servers. Once the command completes, the application is fully configured and running.

When provisioning a new application, you need to choose the following:

• Application template name
• Desired name for the application instance
• Configuration properties (IP settings, user name, and password)
• Resources (CPU, memory, and disk size)
• Billing information and comment
