Login Page

The login page is the first page that is loaded in the user's browser when the user enters the url of the CA 3Tera AppLogic grid controller. The login page contains the following fields:

Language - Indicate the locale to use for the command line and the main GUI of the CA 3Tera AppLogic system.
Username - Username of the account.
Password - Password of the account
Remember my name - Selecting this will enable your browser to remember the username.
Don't log out on browser close - Selecting this will keep you logged in even after the browser is closed. The next time you access the same grid's GUI you are taken directly to the grid's dashboard page.

After the submit button is clicked, the specified user credentials are verified and the user is redirected to the grid's dashboard page. If either the username or password are incorrect, the user is taken back to the login page. If this is the first time a user is logging into their grid's GUI, they will be asked to read and accept the CA 3Tera AppLogic license.

Note: The number of failed attempts to re-enter the username/password is limited to prevent brute-force attacks after which the user account is locked and can only be unlocked by a grid maintainer or another user of the grid.
