Removing a Server from a Grid
Assume your grid has 5 servers with SLA – 5/5/5 (minimum/target/maximum). If you want to remove a server from the grid, follow the procedure below:
- In Grid properties – Configuration tab, change the value of minimum to 4.
- From grid 3t shell run command:
3t srv disable srv<n> where n in the server number that you want to remove from the grid
- From the BFC UI - In Grid properties, under Servers tab – select the server and choose Remove from the Server Actions drop down box. Choose Quarantine checkbox if you want to ensure that the server should not picked up by any other grid.
