Windows WISA/WISAx4 Installation Reference

The CA 3Tera AppLogic Release 2.7 software and higher includes these reference template applications:

• WISA_rX: simple web application based on IIS/SQL/ASP.NET
• WISAx4_rX: scalable web application based on IIS/SQL/ASP.NET

These applications include references to the catalog class appliances /system_ms:IIS08E and /system_ms:SQL08X. Please create these appliances prior to instantiating either WISA template application. Detailed instructions are available here:

WISAx4_rX also includes a reference to /system_ms:IIS08Ex4 which is available in the system_ms catalog distributed with the CA 3Tera AppLogic release.

Import the system_ms catalog from your CA 3Tera AppLogic 3.0x distro (you must be a grid administrator in order to do this):

1. Copy the system_ms-1.1.3.tar file from your distro folder to the /vol/_impex folder.
2. Untar the system_ms folder by entering "tar -xf system_ms-1.1.3.tar".
3. Enter "cat import /system_ms system_ms".

Note: The system_ms catalog contains the IIS0nyx4/IIS0nyx8 assemblies which contain references to the /system_ms:IIS0ny appliances. The infrastructure editor will display an error message every time an application is opened as long as any one of the /system_ms:IIS0ny appliances are missing.

To resolve this issue, either create all of the /system_ms:IIS0ny appliances or remove the unused IIS0nyx4/IIS0nyx8 appliances from the system_ms catalog.
