System-Wide Values

System-wide values apply to all models on a machine. These values are set during installation. You can override them once the product is installed. System-wide values include:

• The action diagram symbols (YACTSYM)
• The default HLL (YHLLGEN)
• The name of the null model (YNLLMDL)
• The IBM i or S/38 editing environment (YCRTENV)
• The system prompts (YSYSPMT)
• The system database access method (YSYSDBF)
