CA 1 can be initialized as batch active to allow testing of CA 1 batch utilities and the Online/Inquiry facility without having the CA 1 OSI installed. The operator should reply system-password,BATCH to the IEFTMS0 WTOR. PARM=NODATE cannot be specified.
Important! Before batch activating CA 1 you must stop all tape processing on the system. This should be used only when CA 1 is first being installed or for specified database modification jobs. Tape processing is not tracked but CA 1 batch and online facilities are functional.
