Report Description

TMSEXPDT produces TMS Report 82 - TMSEXPDT MESSAGES. The EARLOUT DDNAME produces a flat file in the CA 1 Retention Record format which can be used to produce TMS Report 22 - CA 1 Default Expiration Date Listing and TMS Report 22 - CA 1 Batch Expiration Update Listing.

The Default Expiration Update Listing reports on all data sets that are eligible for RDS override and their current RDS expiration dates or retention periods. If the Retention Data Set (RDS) is a null data set (SYSIN DD DUMMY), the EARLOUT data set will contain data sets eligible for RDS override processing.

The Batch Expiration Update Listing created from the EARLOUT data sets shows any overrides performed.

CA Earl member TMEXPDT, which can be found in the CA 1 Source library (CAI.CTAPECPB), can be used to print the reports from the EARLOUT data sets.
