A user exit is available for tailoring TMSCTLG processing. User exit TMSXCTLG is invoked prior to each TMC Volume record and DSNB record update. The user exit is called only if the option XCTLG is set to the name of the exit itself in the TMOOPTxx member of hlq.CTAPOPTN. The Retention Record for the TMC or DSNB being processed is presented to the user exit. TMSXCTLG can CONTINUE processing, BYPASS the update, or MODIFY the expiration date and FLAG1 or DSNB FLAG1 setting.
