TMSBINQ produces TMS Report 12 - Batch Inquiry. The report contents are determined by the options selected: HEADERS, VOL, DSN or DSNB.
The HEADERS control statement generates header record output (Control Records from the TMC and Audit) that is formatted differently than output for nonheader records. Control Record reports are automatically generated in both character and hexadecimal format, as illustrated in the report samples on TMS Report 12 - Batch Inquiry (Headers).
Header records contain the following:
The contents of Volume or DSNB records can be listed in three different formats: SHORT, LONG and DUMP. For greater clarity, the LONG format gives actual descriptions of the flag bytes and the fields that have special meanings, such as RECFM, TRTCH, DEN and BATCH ID.
Note: When the audit file is in the BLOCKSET mode, the audit dates and times are in GMT/UTC. All other dates and times are in local time.
