Reason:
A tape has been opened for either input or output and the CA 1 subsystem has not be initialized.
Action:
Verify that the subsystem parameters were correctly specified to the CAIRIM parameter list. A response of BYPASS will prevent CA 1 from tracking that tape, possibly causing chaining errors. A response of CANCEL will result in an S8xx-08 abend (where xx is your CA 1 SVC number). Prior to responding RETRY, execute L0C6INIT to initialize the CA 1 subsystem. Once initialization has completed, start TMSINIT then reply RETRY to allow processing to continue.
