IBM CBRUXEJC Volume Eject Exit

For basic IBM ATL processing, the OAM CBRUXEJC exit is invoked when a tape is physically ejected from the ATL. The sample CBRUXEJC exit that is provided by CA 1 clears the ROBTY and ROBID fields to indicate that the volume doesn't reside in any robot. For basic IBM ATL support, no changes to the CBRUXEJC sample exit are required.

If the eject operation fails (because the volume is in use as an example), OAM redrives the CBRUXEJC a second time. The second run indicates that the eject did not actually occur. CBRUXEJC updates the ROBTY field to either x’01’ (physical tape) or x’81’ (virtual tape). The volume remains in the robot. A subsequent attempt to eject the volume can be successful. The ROBTY field is cleared then.
