Inquiry by Volume Serial Number

The CA 1 ISPF Inquiry/Update TMC Menu allows you to request the display of specific TMC records. In this example, a single volume serial number 760113 is entered to request specific Volume record information from the TMC.

With the cursor positioned at the command prompt, type U (for Update) and press ENTER. Make any necessary changes to the fields directly on the screen, and press ENTER to submit the update. You must press ENTER a second time to confirm the update before the request is processed.
