Parameters may be temporarily updated while TMSAPEC is active through the use of the CTS Message (MSG) command. Parameters updated this way will remain in effect until TMSAPEC is terminated or the parameter is again changed. If a scan is currently running and a new, later STIME is specified, the current scan will not be stopped, however, if a new ETIME is specified that can be honored, it will. The DELAY and TRUN parms may also be applied to an active scan.
Use the following format for all parameters issued to the APEC subtask:
F CTS,MSG APEC,'yyyyyy'
Specifies the desired APEC parameters.
