The CA 1 Real-time Auxiliary Disposition performs several functions at CLOSE for input and output processing. The feature uses CA 1 console messages IECTMS8 to send messages to the operator, checks tape volumes out of area, and generates external tape label requests. A batch Auxiliary Disposition utility is also available.
