Condition Code Checks

TMSVMVLT, the key utility in VMS, determines which data sets require movement and the location to which they are moved. TMSVMVLT creates a data set which the TMSVMUPD program uses and subsequent CA Earl steps. If TMSVMVLT terminates with a condition code higher than 4, execute the TMSVMUPD program and the CA Earl steps after the exception encountered by TMSVMVLT can be resolved.

Execute the TMSVMEDT utility which processes your Vault Pattern Description data set with no parameter options. If there is any error in the Vault Pattern Description data set (VPD), TMSVMEDT abends with a U4000-0006 code.
