Copying CA Vtape Data Sets While They Are In Use

The Transparent Data Migration Facility (TDMF) software allows you to copy data sets while they are in use. CA Vtape data sets can be copied while in use with TDMF. We recommend that the BSDS1 be backed up prior to copying the Global VCAT or BSDS1 data sets and that any copy operations be performed during a period of low CA Vtape mount activity.
