For CA Vtape to intercept tape mounts, Data Class or Data Set Name Filters must be coded in the filter member of the CA Vtape parmlib. The default parmlib member name is OSFILTR.
The coded filters are sorted and loaded into the Local VCAT when the CA Vtape Subsystem is started. If the filter member is modified while the Subsystem is active, the SVTn REFRESH=FiLTer console command is issued for each Subsystem sharing the filter member to trigger a reload.
