Pre-Installation Requirements

This section describes the requirements for successfully installing and activating the CA Cloud Storage for System z server:

Two FICON CTC addresses are available for the subsystem under z/OS to communicate with Linux on System z.
Linux on System z is already installed with 1 GB of memory and 20 GBs of available disk space.
You are running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (s390x) at patch level 1.
Network attached storage is available.
A user account with super-user (sudo) authority has been defined for your use.
The Linux on System z syslog service is active.
