This chapter describes how to perform a standalone installation of the SystemEDGE agent. When managing the agent with CA Virtual Assurance, the best practice is to deploy agents using the CA Virtual Assurance user interface. For more information about deployment, see Deploy the Agent with CA Virtual Assurance and the CA Virtual Assurance Implementation Guide.
A CA Virtual Assurance manager installation installs SystemEDGE on the manager system by default. Deployment on the local system is not supported.
