Fix Category: CA.TargetSystem-RequiredService.z/OS.V2R4
The CA ASM2 Intelligent Transparent Restore (IXR) facility is no longer supported on z/OS 2.4 and later releases. IXR uses user key common storage (USER KEY CSA) which, with z/OS 2.4, is no longer permitted by the operating system. Earlier releases of z/OS allowed the use of this storage when the parameter VSM ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(YES) was specified in the appropriate system DIAGxx parmlib member, but this parameter is no longer available. When IXR is started on z/OS 2.4 or later, it terminates with SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=B78 REASON CODE=0000005C.
Fix Category: CA.TargetSystem-RequiredService.z/OS.V2R5
The CA ASM2 Intelligent Transparent Restore (IXR) facility is no longer supported on z/OS 2.5 and later releases. IXR uses user key common storage (USER KEY CSA) which, with z/OS 2.5, is no longer permitted by the operating system. Earlier releases of z/OS allowed the use of this storage when the parameter VSM ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(YES) was specified in the appropriate system DIAGxx parmlib member, but this parameter is no longer available. When IXR is started on z/OS 2.5 or later, it terminates with SYSTEM COMPLETION CODE=B78 REASON CODE=0000005C.
