5.0 Known Issues and Fixes

5.1 Connection problems while installing the plug-in or connecting to the Endevor repository

In the network setups, when a proxy server is used, the user might have to update the Eclipse Proxy settings in the Preferences\General\Network Connections, or in the Install/Updates section, depending on the Eclipse version.

5.2 Limited functionality of the Eclipse embedded web browser.

When CA Endevor SCM (Eclipse) Plug-in is connecting to the CA CM Enterprise Workbench, and it is displayed in an embedded web browser; following features are not supported:

These limitations affect certain CA CM Enterprise Workbench functionality, like ADD/Retrieve to Local File System and the various element browse functions.

5.3 Element Browse/Open Conflict

It is possible to open an element in CA Endevor Plug-in for Eclipse that is named the same as a file that exists in the current project. For example, you could open an element for editing, and then open the same element for browsing from either the Project View or Search Map View. Both actions create a local file in the project workspace with the identical name, in the format element.type. If you browse an element already open for editing, the read-only version will overwrite the read-write version, and you will lose any changes made in the editor. As a workaround, avoid opening and browsing an element with an identical name.
