The BrightStor ARCserve Backup server, as well as each option and agent, requires a license to enable use of the component. With the exception of the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Client Agents, licenses are checked on the local computer that runs the component; therefore, the license key must be installed on that system.
You can enter license keys after the original product installation in the License Verification dialog, which allows you to enter the necessary License Keys to license any components installed on a particular system.
To license a BrightStor ARCserve Backup component, select About BrightStor ARCserve Backup from the Help menu and click the License button. For detailed instructions on how to use the License Verification dialog, click Help on the dialog, or click here.
Registration
To register your product, select About BrightStor ARCserve Backup from the Help menu and click the Register button. For detailed instructions on how to complete the Registration dialog, click Help.
