For each of the causes, check the following:
- Check the Tape Server Messages topic and follow the instructions for media or hardware errors. Check the Tape Related Errors Help topic.
- If this error indicates a tape hardware error, see the media error Help topic.
- Check whether a device on the SCSI bus has caused an unscheduled reset, which caused the tape drive to abort all operations.
