Error 29048

Hardware Snapshot error: Failed to retrieve snapshot file names for database [DBNAME].

Module:

Database Hardware Snapshot Agent

Reason:

Communication failure between BrightStor Server and Backup Agent for Microsoft SQL Server, or a Microsoft SQL Server query failure.

Action:

  1. Check network connections.
  2. Verify in the SQL Server ARCserve Manager that the database [DBNAME] is accessible, and not in a Suspect or Loading state
  3. If all network connections are functional and the database is accessible, stop and restart the backup agent services on the production server. These are the "Backup Agent RPC Server" for all database backup agents, and the "Backup Agent Remote Service" for the Backup Agent for Microsoft SQL Server.
