Error 29045

Hardware Snapshot error: Failed to login to Backup History database. Check the security information.

Module:

Database Hardware Snapshot Agent

Reason:

The BrightStor database may not be running, or the security information may be incorrect.

Action:

  1. Check the authentication under which all the BrightStor services are set to run on the backup server.
  2. Verify that all the BrightStor services are running on the backup server.
  3. If using Microsoft SQL Server for the BrightStor database, run the Backup Server Admin utility, select "MS SQL User Account" from the "Admin" menu, and update the information in the dialog.
  4. Verify the connection to the BrightStor database; if you are using SQL Server as a BrightStor database, and verify settings for the System DSN "ASNT" in the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator.
