Reason:
If the call to read the NWAGENT.LOG file fails when "View NW Agent Log" is selected from the NW Agent Options screen, then either the NWAGENT.LOG file is corrupted or the volume on which it resides may need repairing. If the option to mail the error log to the BrightStor ARCserve Backup host server is selected and, at the end of the job, the call to read the file returns an error, this error is also returned.
Action:
If the log file does not contain any vital information deleting or renaming the file will force the creation of a new log file and solve the problem. If the error log is important, you need to rerun the job and ensure the log file is not corrupted and the volume is without errors.
