Error 3038
Failed to allocate [entity] ([size] bytes)
Module:
File Server
Reason:
The host server does not have enough memory.
Action:
Check server memory. You can do this by following these steps:
- Enter LOAD MONITOR from the server console.
- Select "Resource Utilization" from the Available Options menu.
- If the cache buffer percentage is very low (below 30%), your server is probably low on memory.
- To free up some memory, unload any NLMs that are not required.
- Enter ASTOP from the server console to stop BrightStor ARCserve Backup.
- Enter ASTART from the server console to restart BrightStor ARCserve Backup.
If it happens again, you should restart the file server. You should also consider purchasing more memory for the file server.
