Error 3008

Failed to back up [Macintosh file name]'s data fork

Module:

File Server

Reason:

This error occurs due to one of the following:

• The file is locked by another application
• The file has been deleted
• The connection has been broken

Action:

For each of the causes, do the following

1. If the file is locked, have the application close the file.
2. Check to see if the file has been deleted.
3. Use MAP to see if the connection has been broken.
