Error 24005
Failed to open file [file name] - [NetWare error message].
Module:
CSLOADER
Reason:
This error message is caused by one of the following:
- The file does not exist.
- The file is in use by another application which has it open in exclusive mode, and the file hasn't been flagged as shareable.
- You do not have the proper rights to this directory or file.
- The path to this file is incorrect.
Action:
For each of the causes, check the following:
- Verify the file exists.
- Check to see that the file isn't locked by someone else. Flag the file shareable. From the Backup Manager Backup Options screen, check the Open File Method and set it to Deny None.
- Use NWADMIN to check the assigned rights to this directory or file.
- Verify the path to this file is correct.
Note: If you have several problems of this kind, you can change the backup schedule to run at a time when there is less chance of users accessing files.
