Reason:

The function call to resume tape failed. This error typically indicates one or more of the following:

• Media error
• Hardware error
• Timeout error
• Unit attention

Action:

Refer to other messages displayed by APROCESS.NLM.

For each of the causes, check the following:

• Check the Tape Server Messages topic and follow the instructions for media or hardware errors. Check the Tape Related Errors Help topic.
• If this error indicates a tape hardware error, see the media error Help topic.
• Check whether a device on the SCSI bus has caused an unscheduled reset, which caused the tape drive to abort all operations.
