Error 15047
Not enough memory to continue, [number]
Module:
Data Multiplexing
Reason:
The host server does not have enough memory to run the job as submitted. The job can not continue. The [number] is the memory space requested in bytes.
Action:
To address this error message, perform the following:
- Use a smaller Data Multiplexing buffer (you can configure this buffer in the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Schedule console under Configure BrightStor ARCserve Backup Server).
- Add more memory to the server.
- Set the Garbage Collection Interval of the host server to a shorter period.
- Check the server memory. To do so, follow these steps:
- Enter LOAD MONITOR from the server console.
- Select Resource Utilization from the Available Options menu.
- If the cache buffer percentage is very low (below 30%), your server is probably low on memory.
- To free memory, unload any NLMs that are not required.
- Enter ASTOP from the server console to stop BrightStor ARCserve Backup.
- Enter ASTART from the server console to restart BrightStor ARCserve Backup.
- If you receive this error again, restart the file server.
