Error 15025

Failed to connect to [server name], [error desc]

Reason:

Attempt to connect to a remote server transport provider failed. The request for connection was not successful.

Action:

Ensure that the remote server is up, that the appropriate agent is loaded and that a valid network connection exists. If you are using TCP/IP, ensure you have bound IP protocol to the board properly with a valid address. Use PING to test the TCP/IP connection. Check the Send and Received count and percentage. Less than 100% indicates a communication problem. Verify that you have the latest SPXS.NLM, TLI.NLM, STREAMS.NLM and TCPIP.NLM. If you use the TCP/IP protocol, BrightStor ARCserve Backup retries with SPX automatically. To try the SPX protocol, open ASCONFIG.INI in the BrightStor ARCserve Backup home directory and set UseSPX to Yes under [FILE INTERLEAVING] and submit a new job. Resubmit the same job. If the error does not occur, it may be caused by a network error.
