Reason:
This error message indicates that BrightStor ARCserve Backup could not open the message file due one or more of the following reasons:
- You do not have the appropriate rights.
- The file does not exist.
- The file is locked by another application.
- Some BrightStor ARCserve Backup system files are missing.
Action:
For each of the causes, check the following:
- If you do not have the appropriate rights, use NWADMIN to ensure that the proper rights have been assigned.
- Verify that the file exists and that the path is correct.
- If the file is locked by another application, have the application close the file.
- If BrightStor ARCserve Backup system files seem to be missing, reinstall BrightStor ARCserve Backup.
