Failed to open file [file name] - [error description]

Reason:
This error message can be generated by the following conditions:
- The file does not exist.
- Another application has the file open in exclusive mode, and the file has not been flagged as shareable.
- You do not have the proper rights to this directory or file.
- The path to this file is incorrect.
Action:
For each of the causes, check the following:
- Ensure that the file exists.
- Verify that the file is not locked by someone else. Flag the file shareable.
- Using the Manager, view the backup options screen. Set the file open method to deny_none.
- Use NWADMIN to check the assigned rights to this directory or file.
- Verify that the path to this file is correct.
Note: If you have similar problems of this kind, you can change the backup schedule to run at a time when there is less chance of users accessing files. You can also use the backup options to disconnect users before backup.
