Error 0127

Failed to open activity log -[path name] - [error description]

Reason:

This error is generated because of one or more of the following conditions:

• The file server has run out of disk space.
• You do not have appropriate rights to open this file.
• The path to the Activity Log is incorrect or the file does not exist.
• The file may be opened by another process, such as a text editor.

Action:

For each of the causes, check the following:

• Use CHKVOL to check whether the server has run out of disk space.
• Use DSPACE to check if any space restrictions exist.
• Use NWADMIN to ensure that the proper rights have been assigned.
• Check the path to the Activity Log, and ensure that the file is there.
• Ensure that no other process has the activity file open.
