Error 8047

Failed to communicate to Primary CP-SAN Server [Server Name].

Reason:

This error message indicates that the Windows SAN Server is unable to communicate with the Primary Cross Platform SAN Server.

Action:

To address this error message, perform the following procedure:

  1. Check the network connection and ensure that you can ping the Primary Cross Platform SAN Server.
  2. If your network connection is working and there is still no activity from any of your SAN Servers, restart the Tape Engine. If this is the Primary Windows SAN Server, ensure that you also restart the Tape Engine on all your Distributed Windows SAN Servers.
