Reason:
BrightStor ARCserve Backup failed to write the multiplexing session header to the tape, possibly because a media- or drive-related error occurred or the system is low on memory.
Action:
To address this error message, perform the following tasks:
- Check the Activity Log and TAPE.LOG for media- and drive-related errors. For information on troubleshooting media- and drive-related errors, click here.
- If the system is low on memory, close unnecessary programs for the duration of the backup.
- Ensure that the Activity Log and Tape log are available.
