Unable to synchronize group.

Reason:

Before BrightStor ARCserve Backup Agent for Open Files can provide a client access to an open file that is part of a group, the agent must find a period of time during which there is no write activity to any of the open files part of the group. This period is the Group Inactivity period set in the BAOF console. If the agent cannot find such a period of write inactivity before the Group sync timeout expires, the agent is unable to synchronize the group and denies the client access to the open file.

Action:

Try decreasing the Group inactivity Period or increasing the Group Sync Timeout value or both until you find a setting that provides the agent with the required amount of inactivity period.
