Reason:

BrightStor ARCserve Backup failed to erase a WORM capable media which is not currently WORM, because of an internal error or an error described by the Tape Engine.

Action:

To resolve this error:

• Check the error code.
• Check that the media is not write-protected.
• Check that the media has no media error.
• Check the integrity of the device connections.
• Ensure the following log files are available from the BrightStor ARCserve Backup installation path \LOG directory:
  • BrightStor.log
  • TAPE.LOG
