Because of this error, staging related jobs might have problems. To resolve the problem,

  1. Check if the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Database engine is running. If not, start the Database engine.
  2. If the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Database is on a remote host, check if the remote host is reachable. And if available, check if the Database engine is running on the machine. If not, verify the remote host is reachable and the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Database engine is running.
  3. Ensure the following logs are available from the BrightStor ARCserve Backup installation path \ LOG directory:
