Orchestria APM Content Services enable you to:
- Search and analyze your captured data, identifying patterns that were not previously discernible.
- Train content agents to intelligently detect particular types of document. You can then incorporate these agents into capture and control triggers in user policies.
Before you can perform these tasks, however, you must import captured data from your CMS into an Orchestria APM Content database. You can then use Content Search feature in Orchestria APM to search the database for events. You can also use the captured data in the Content database to train Content Agents. To import data into the Content database, you use the Orchestria APM Content Indexer utility.
Orchestria APM Content Services can integrate with FAST Data Search. FAST Data Search is an integrated software application that provides powerful information search and retrieval technologies for integration into the existing IT environments of large organizations.
i The Content Services features use technology under license from FAST. However, licensing for Content Services is covered by your Orchestria APM license. If you experience any problems using Content Services, please contact the Orchestria Service Desk: http://support.orchestria.com.
The Content Services features are designed to run on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server.
Full installation instructions are provided in the Deployment guide. This manual is in Adobe PDF format. You can find it on your Orchestria APM distribution media in the \Software\docs folder.
Instructions for indexing captured data into a Content database are provided in the Content Indexer online help.
