This document describes how to install the latest version of CA ARCserve Backup Online Help to your CA ARCserve Backup servers.

2.0 Install Updated CA ARCserve Backup Online Help

Installing updated CA ARCserve Backup Online Help helps ensure that you are using the latest version of the online help.

Before you install the online help, be aware of the following considerations:

• The CA ARCserve Backup Manager Console, CA ARCserve Backup Primary Server, or CA ARCserve Backup Stand-alone Server must be installed on the target server.
• The CA ARCserve Backup Manager Console must be closed.
• The following steps assume that you are logged in to the server where at least one of the above CA ARCserve Backup components is installed.

To install updated CA ARCserve Backup Online Help

1. Download Updated CA ARCserve Backup Online Help to your CA ARCserve Backup server.
2. Open the zip file named C013321E.zip using a file extraction utility such as CA ZIP or WinZip.
3. Extract the contents of the zip file to the following directory:

   ARCSERVE_HOME\Help
   

   Example:

   C:\Program Files\CA\ARCserve Backup\Help
   

   Note: If the extraction utility contains an overwrite existing files option, you should enable the option. However, if the extraction utility prompts you to overwrite the files in the destination directory, click Yes to All.

   The online help files are updated to the latest version.
