Encoding

Specifies the format of the data being transferred. The system from which the data is retrieved is responsible for performing any necessary conversion.

BINARY

Indicates binary data.

EBCDIC

Indicates that the data is in EBCDIC code.

ASCII

Indicates that the data is in ASCII code.

Default: EBCDIC
