Uninstall the CA XCOM Interface Server

Before you uninstall the CA XCOM Interface Server, stop JBoss.

To uninstall the CA XCOM Interface Server

  1. Ensure that JBoss has stopped.
  2. In Windows, do the following:
    1. Open the Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs window, and select CA XCOM Data Transport Interface Server.
    2. Click Change/Remove, and follow the prompts to uninstall the CA XCOM Interface Server.

    The dialog warns that the Interface Server may be used by other components and prompts you to confirm that you still want to uninstall it.

Important! If a CA XCOM Gateway or CA XCOM Management Center is configured to use the CA XCOM Interface Server on this computer, those products cannot operate if the CA XCOM Interface Server is uninstalled. Do not proceed unless you are confident that no instances of those products are using this CA XCOM Interface Server actively.
