View Managed Object States

The CA Virtual Assurance user interface displays all SystemEDGE managed objects for managed systems.

To view managed object states, click Resources, expand an appropriate folder in the Explore tree, and select a system.

The system Summary page appears in the right pane.

The Machine Status Information pane contains the total number of managed objects and the maximum object severity.

The Managed Objects table contains the following information about each managed object:

• Health state
• Operating status (active or inactive)
• Object class, instance, and attribute
• Current monitored value and threshold value

From this table, you can select a managed object and click Actions, Go to Definition to view the monitors that make up the managed object.
