New Features

In this release, SystemEDGE includes the following new and enhanced features:

• Autowatchers

  Autowatchers create SystemEDGE monitors automatically based on a periodic discovery process of resources using regular expressions as patterns to match the resource name. You can create flexible policies without the knowledge of resources present on the system. Autowatchers minimize the effort of customizing policies for each monitored system.

• Additional performance metrics enhancements (CPU, kernelperf, memoryStats, network), and additions to the diskStatsTable and devTable groups on Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms.
• Exchange Server and Active Directory AIM

  Lets you monitor Exchange Server and Active Directory environments on both off-premise and on-premise infrastructure. This AIM enables configuration of Exchange Server and Active Directory environments, and monitoring of the Key Performance Indicators. Not applicable to CA Server Automation.

• Support provided for Linux on pSeries platform
• Multi NIC support

  Specifies the IP address of an interface where you deploy a job. If a system has multiple IP addresses, the IP address with the management property is set as Default.

  Note: You cannot select the IP address for which the management property is not enabled.
