dpmutil -hvdefault Command--Configure Default Hyper-V Administrator User

The dpmutil set|get|delete -hvdefault command lets you configure the default Hyper-V administrator user for CA Virtual Assurance. CA Virtual Assurance will use the default Hyper-V administrator user (vcdefault) when a Hyper-V server is discovered. This command sets the hvdefault.

This command has the following format:

dpmutil {-set|-get|-delete} -hvdefault [locale iso639value]

-set

Defines a hvdefault user for Hyper-V.

-get

Displays the default user or users configured for Hyper-V discovery.

-delete

Deletes the default user or users configured for Hyper-V discovery.

-locale iso639value

(Optional) Specifies an IS0 639_3166 combination (for example: fr_FR for French) to override the default English output. To use the locale of the command prompt, specify "native".
